IPESSA Yaw Bar

IPESSA Yaw Bar

Dual Antenna RTK GNSS INS receiver

IPESSA YAW BAR is unique compact size dual-antenna RTK – GNSS – INS receiver device for OEMs and System Integrators.

Dual-antenna configuration enables IPESSA Yaw Bar to provide accurate heading estimates instantly with GNSS position fix, and allows precise navigation without further sensor initialisation by moving.

IPESSA Yaw Bar is solid state self-contained and fully integrated positioning device. It features accurate RTK GNSS receiver with high-end inertial sensors, which are integrated in a powerful sensor fusion. This allows IPESSA Yaw Bar to provide accurate position, attitude and heading under all conditions. GNSS (GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BeiDou) receivers and MEMS IMU or optional close loop solid state 3-axis Fiber Optic Gyroscope enable Dead Reckoning navigation in the event of GNSS denial, jamming or spoofing. IPESSA Yaw Bar navigates without disturbance, regardless of the satellites or visual navigation aids. This device brings another level of redundancy in navigation to any machine.

IPESSA Yaw Bar is the ideal choice for high or slow speed Work boats, Patrol vessels, Fishing vessels or any autonomous or remote controlled machine.

When the exact position is essential and relying only on satellites and visual aids is not an option, choose IPESSA Yaw Bar, novel positioning device.

IPESSA in Action

Easy Integration

IPESSA is easy to integrate into existing navigation system of the OEM. It provides the most common wired interfaces such as CAN and RS-232. Additionally, IPESSA supports wireless data transfer via Bluetooth, WiFi and global 4G-LTE module. IPESSA supports standard communication protocols such as NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. Furthermore, IPESSA provides a built-in protocol translator facility which allows easy configuration and customization of the interfaces to customers’ needs.

Rugged Design

IPESSA is designed to last under all conditions. Its rugged IP68 enclosure provides protection against water, dust and mechanical shocks. Furthermore, rigid aluminium base provides robust mounting points. Reinforced polycarbonate cover protects the electronics against environmental factors but allows wireless signals go through freely. Connectors of IPESSA are fully IP68 rated and provides IP68 protection even when the connectors are unplugged. Therefore, washing the work machines with jet cleaner is not a concern.
